Scheduled

When?

MONDAY August 5th 2024 from 09:00am UTC | 05:00am Eastern | 02:00am Pacific

How long?

Maintenance Window: 3 hours We expect the maintenance to be complete within 180 minutes. Actual downtime experienced should be no longer than 5 minutes.

Why is it Happening?

Our service provider has requested a maintenance window to upgrade key components in their data centre due to issues experienced last month. However, the duration of the scheduled maintenance exceeds our acceptable limits. To minimise any further disruption to your service, we have taken the decision to transition to an alternative data centre.

What should I expect?

  • Stations hosted on Pearl, Honey, Slate, or Lapis will be affected.
  • Stations will be migrated to the new hardware:

    • Pearl -> opal.radio.co
    • Honey -> agave.radio.co
    • Slate -> shale.radio.co
    • Lapis -> zircon.radio.co
  • During the migration, affected stations will temporarily go 'Off Air' and then power back on automatically.

  • Listen links, players, and apps will continue to operate as normal with no changes required.

  • FTP/Live DJ 'Host' URLS will change to the new links above, however the original links will still function.

  • If you're unsure which server your station is hosted on, you can see a reference in your Live DJ bar at the top of the dashboard.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise. Our goal is to enhance your experience and provide you with the most reliable service possible.
