Cherry Station Server - Connectivity Issues - Updated


Following further investigations, we've confirmed the fault was down to a hardware issue with our infrastructure partner.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, we will work to help ensure this does not happen again.


Our platform team have completed integrity checks on the server and have now marked this incident as resolved.

As mentioned in our last update, further work may be required at a later time. We will endeavour to provide 7 days notice of this via email. A Reason for Outage report (RFO) will be provided in an update to this incident.

Our platform team have successfully restored a backup of the affected server to new hardware and are working to restore FTP access.

Affected stations on the 'Cherry' server should now be broadcasting. Once FTP is restored we will mark this incident resolved.

Please be aware further work may be required at a later date and a reason for outage report will be provided within 7 days.

Once again we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this outage.


Following the scheduled maintenance carried out by our provider, the Cherry server automatically detected an issue and is running a verification process to ensure there is no data loss.

During this time the server is unavailable for use. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on how long this will take. Our Service Provider is keeping us updated once the verification is complete.

Our third party provider is continuing to investigate the issue with a aim of fixing and restoring service as soon as possible. Any updates will be posted here as soon as we have them.

We are liaising with our server provider to investigate availability of the Cherry station server following scheduled maintenance earlier today. Due to the nature of this incident, stations hosted on this server may not be available.
